Urban Series

I am fascinated with the notion of disconnected activity that combines in the same space where the density of population and complexity of structures create an impression of trapped frenzy that reflect our contemporary cities. My interest in vast architecture and space,often leads me to explore large cityscapes, transport systems and industrial sites before constructing my own imaginary environment. Through my work I aim to explore the relationships between built environments and the people and systems that inhabit them. I also look to explore the constantly changing and developing urban environment overtime using many layers of different media and gestural marks to echo a sense of chaos and visual noise.
